Mr. Michael Brace

     Mr. Brace joined Knox during the 2023-2024 school year as our Safety Coordinator. Last year he taught an Algebra I class, CPR and First Aid and archery. For the 2025-2026 school year we are blessed to have him  assume the Safety Coordinator duties as well as the CPR and First Aid Safety Instructor.  In Mr. Brace’s 30-year career in public safety as a Firefighter, EMT, and Police Officer he has attained skills and experience to make him the perfect fit to meet the challenges in overseeing the safety of the Knox students.

     He received his Associate’s Degree from Portland Community College and a Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University. Mr. Brace has enjoyed teaching adults as a training officer and as an assistant professor at a community college teaching Fire Science and EMT classes. He is married with four children, with the eldest currently serving in the Marine Corps.
