Mr. Ben McReynolds
Mr. McReynolds and his wife began the process of starting Knox Academy when their oldest son was 2 years old. For the past nine years, he devoted himself to his penultimate passion, second only to his home and family. Knox academy has flourished as he focused on faculty culture, music, promotion and teaching. As a founder of the school, his wife, Heather, worked behind the scenes while raising their three youngest children. Their family is now pursuing further education and experience in a new position with Geneva Academy in Roseburg, Oregon. He has left Knox in the good hands of teachers and staff that will continue the traditions of classical education he so diligently and faithfully pursued. We will miss him but we know God will bless his family in their new adventure at Geneva Academy.

G.K. Chesterton’s book Everlasting Man lit for me the first spark of a true love for literature.
